Online dice roller
Roll virtual dice — any number, any number of sides, with a modifier. See each result and the total.
Roll any dice, anywhere
Pick how many dice, choose the number of sides — d4 through d100 — add an optional modifier, and roll. Each die's individual result is shown along with the grand total, so it works for everything from a single coin-flip-style decision to a fistful of dice for a tabletop game. No physical dice required, and nothing to install.
For tabletop games
This covers the dice notation tabletop players know well: "3d6+2" means roll three six-sided dice and add two, which this tool handles directly. Dungeons & Dragons leans on the d20 for almost every check, while damage and stats use combinations like 2d6 or 4d6 — all supported here. Seeing each die separately (not just the total) matters in many games, where rolling doubles or a natural 20 triggers special rules.
Fair, random rolls
The rolls use your browser's random generator, giving each face an equal chance — the digital equivalent of a perfectly balanced die, without the table-edge tumbles. That makes it handy beyond games too: pick a random winner, settle a "who goes first," or make any quick unbiased decision. For picking a number in a specific range instead, the random number generator gives you finer control.
