Your Privacy Choices

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page is provided for California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, and the opt-out options below are available to everyone.

What this means

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. Those terms are defined broadly. Shortcut.fyi does not sell your personal information for money. However, like most ad-supported sites, when advertising is enabled this site may use advertising cookies that allow third parties such as Google to serve personalised ads — and that activity can be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law.

How to opt out

You can opt out of personalised advertising and the associated sharing in any of these ways:

  • Use the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends the GPC signal, we aim to treat it as a valid opt-out request for California residents, where applicable.
  • Adjust Google's ad settings at Google Ads Settings to turn off ad personalisation.
  • Use the industry opt-out tools: the Digital Advertising Alliance at aboutads.info/choices and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Decline non-essential cookies in the consent banner shown where required, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings.

Because advertising opt-outs are stored in cookies (or tied to your browser's signal), you may need to opt out again if you clear cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device.

Your other California rights

California residents also have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it's used, to request deletion of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As explained in our Privacy Policy, the tools on this site run in your browser and we don't collect the contents of what you type. To make a request about personal information, contact us through the contact form. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
