AI prompts

Prompts that actually work.

A growing library of ready-to-use prompts for writing, coding, marketing and more — tap any prompt to copy it, paste it into your AI assistant, and fill in the blanks. Free and works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others.

A prompt library is only useful if the prompts are good, so every one here is written by hand to a dependable structure — a role for the model, the context it needs, the exact output, and sensible limits — with bracketed slots you fill in. The collection spans the work people most often hand to AI: writing and email, coding and data, marketing and sales, study, planning and more, across 29 focused pages. Tap a prompt to copy it and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any assistant. Browse by category below; if a prompt isn't giving you what you want, the prompt-engineering set has meta-prompts to fix it.

How to get more out of any prompt

A good prompt is mostly about giving the AI enough to work with. Three habits make the biggest difference. Add context: tell it who the output is for and what you're trying to achieve, not just what to make. Be specific about the format: ask for a bullet list, a table, a certain length, or a particular tone, and you'll get something far closer to usable. And iterate: treat the first answer as a draft and refine it — "make it shorter," "more formal," "add an example" — rather than expecting perfection in one shot.

Every prompt in this library uses [bracketed placeholders] for the parts you should swap in. Replace them with your own details before sending. These work across all the major assistants, so use whichever you prefer. Want shortcuts and tools to go with your workflow? Browse the cheatsheets, command references, and browser tools.
