QR code generator
Turn any link or text into a QR code instantly. Adjust error correction and download as PNG or SVG — free, no watermark.
Higher error correction survives partial damage but makes a denser code. PNG is best for sharing; SVG scales cleanly for print.
Make a QR code in seconds
Type or paste a URL — or any text — and the QR code updates live as you go. When it looks right, download a PNG for screens and documents or an SVG for print, where it stays razor-sharp at any size, from a business card to a poster. Everything is generated in your browser, so the link or text you encode never touches a server.
Error correction, explained
The one setting worth understanding is the error-correction level. QR codes build in redundancy so they still scan when partly obscured or damaged — a higher level means more of the code can be covered (say, by a logo in the middle) and still read, at the cost of a denser pattern. For a plain link, Low or Medium is fine; if you're placing a logo over the code or printing on something that might scuff, choose High.
Tips for codes that actually scan
A few habits prevent dead codes. Keep a quiet margin of empty space around the code so cameras can find its edges, and maintain strong contrast — dark code on a light background scans far more reliably than the reverse. Always test the exported version with a couple of phones before committing to a print run. One more advantage of encoding your link directly: there's no tracking redirect, so your QR codes keep working forever and point straight to your link.
