Keywords & topics

Brainstorm keyword ideas

Brainstorm keyword ideas for a page about [topic] targeting [audience]. Group them by search intent (informational, commercial, transactional) and flag a few long-tail phrases with likely lower competition.

Build a topic cluster

Create a topic cluster for [main topic]: one pillar page and [number] supporting article ideas, each with a working title and the search intent it serves.

Find questions people ask

List the [number] most common questions someone searching for [topic] would ask, phrased the way they'd type them. I'll use these as headings and FAQ entries.

Meta tags & on-page

Write meta titles & descriptions

Write 3 options each for an SEO title tag (under 60 characters) and meta description (under 155 characters) for a page about [topic]. Include the primary keyword [keyword] naturally and make them click-worthy.

Suggest a heading structure

Suggest an SEO-friendly heading structure (H1, H2s and H3s) for an article about [topic] targeting the keyword [keyword]. Keep it logical and cover the subtopics a reader expects.

Generate FAQ content

Write [number] concise FAQ questions and answers about [topic] for an FAQ section. Keep each answer to 1-3 sentences and factually careful.

Briefs & optimisation

Write a content brief

Write a content brief for an article on [topic] targeting [keyword]. Include the target audience, search intent, suggested word count, key points to cover, headings, and internal-link ideas.

Improve existing content for SEO

Here's a draft article: [paste content]. Suggest specific SEO improvements — missing subtopics, better headings, keyword usage, and internal links — without keyword-stuffing or hurting readability.

Find internal linking opportunities

Here are my existing page titles: [paste titles]. For a new article about [topic], suggest which existing pages to link to and from, with natural anchor text.

AI drafts, you verify

AI is genuinely useful for the structural side of SEO — clustering topics, drafting meta tags within character limits, outlining headings, and turning a topic into the questions real searchers ask. Where it's not reliable is hard data: it doesn't know live search volumes, current rankings or what competitors are doing, and it will confidently invent numbers if you let it. Use these prompts to generate structure and ideas fast, then check anything quantitative against a real keyword tool. Write for the reader first — search engines increasingly reward content that genuinely answers the question over content stuffed with keywords.

FAQ

Can AI do keyword research on its own?
Not accurately for live data — models don't know current search volumes or competition and may fabricate numbers. Use them to brainstorm and group keywords, then validate the metrics in a dedicated SEO tool.
Will Google penalise AI-written content?
Google's guidance focuses on quality and helpfulness rather than how content is produced. Thin, mass-generated pages tend to do poorly; genuinely useful content that's been edited and fact-checked can do fine.
