Trello keyboard shortcuts.
Fly around your Trello boards — add, edit, label and move cards with single keys.
Hover, then press
Trello's shortcuts have a distinctive twist: most act on whichever card your cursor is hovering over, no clicking required. Hover a card and press Space to assign yourself, d to set a due date, l to open labels, or m to move it to another list. Once this clicks, you can groom a whole board by gliding the pointer across cards and tapping keys, which is far faster than opening each card in turn.
Moving around the board
For navigation, n adds a new card right where you are, and the arrow keys jump your focus between adjacent cards so you can move along a list without the mouse at all. Pressing Enter opens the focused card when you do need its full detail. The e key opens a quick inline edit, handy for fixing a title without leaving the board view.
Small board, big speed-up
Trello looks simple, which is exactly why its shortcuts are underused — but on a busy board they compound quickly. Filtering cards (f) to focus on what's assigned to you or due soon, combined with hover-key actions, turns a daily board review into a couple of minutes. Press the keyboard-shortcut help from the board menu any time to see the full list. If your team works across tools, the Jira and Linear cheatsheets cover the same ground there.
